COMPETITION HOSTING

Due to the delay in publishing the new rulebook, for the 2025 season only, the $25.00 sanctioning fee is WAIVED for all competition applications.
NOTE: The $100.00 deposit at time of application submission, and all other fees pertaining to hosting remain in effect, as per rulebook guidelines.

Please keep in mind that dates for sanctioned competitions are confirmed upon NLEA approval only. Date conflicts are possible, therefore, it is important to submit 3 date choices with your application before releasing any dates to the public to avoid competition overlaps - whether sanctioned or unsanctioned. The NLEA encourages province-wide participation and opportunity in all equestrian events, and date overlaps can unfortunately effect competitor participation in a negative way.

Applications are reviewed and approvals are awarded 'first come, first-served' only if all required information is included. Incomplete applications cannot be approved and may be rejected or held until issues are resolved, which may affect dates chosen.

Step 1

COMPETITION APPLICATION FORM

APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN FOR THE 2025 COMPETITION SEASON!
DUE ON OR BEFORE MIDNIGHT - JUNE 1ST, 2025.

*Competition hosts interested in DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC competitions must e-mail the Vice President to receive the appropriate application form*

Step 2

SUBMIT COMPETITION PACKAGE - PART 1

Due at minimum 4 weeks prior to competition.

Step 3

SUBMIT COMPETITION PACKAGE - PART 2

Due at minimum 7 days prior to competition.

Step 4

SUBMIT POST-COMPETITION PACKAGE

Due within 10 days post competition.

The NLEA Board of Directors are responsible for ensuring compliance for all NLEA sanctioned competitions and events, including enforcing the Terra Nova Series rulebook and other policies at every step. Competitions can lose their sanctioned status at any time of the process including prior to, while in progress, and/or after having been concluded due to policies not enforced or followed, and/or if submission requirements have not been met, including payments and timelines.
In the event a competition loses sanctioning status, all competitor points earned shall be ineligible for annual awards for that competition.

C.Co. may be given opportunities to amend or rectify any issues that arise at any given point in the process where appropriate, though repeated issues may affect future sanctioning approval/ability to host sanctioned events.
